Leadership Team
Solis is led by a multidisciplinary team with experience across business operations, technology, capital markets, finance, governance and securities law. The team combines operating experience with the financial and technical capabilities required to evaluate investments, support portfolio companies and pursue long-term value creation.
Dylan Su is an entrepreneur and business executive with more than a decade of experience in corporate management, Canadian market operations, business development, automation, and real estate investment and development. Since relocating to Toronto in 2009, he has led residential and commercial real estate projects involving property acquisition, development planning, construction oversight, and asset management.
As Chief Executive Officer of Solis, Mr. Su leads the company’s strategic direction, business development, investment activities, and operational execution. He is responsible for evaluating opportunities, allocating capital, overseeing portfolio investments, and building relationships with business partners and other stakeholders.
Mr. Su brings a practical, operator-led approach to investment and commercialization. His experience in managing businesses, executing projects, and developing opportunities supports Solis’s efforts to strengthen portfolio companies, scale operations, and create long-term enterprise value.
Christina Hu has more than 15 years of experience in business operations, corporate administration, international business and supply-chain management. She supports Solis’s day-to-day operations, internal coordination and the development of the systems and processes required for the company’s continued growth.
Before joining Solis, Ms. Hu served as a director of Wellbuilt Supply Ltd., a private building-supply company based in Markham, Ontario. In that role, she participated in strategic operations, business development, vendor management and supply-chain planning.
Ms. Hu holds a Master of Science in International Business from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Macau.
Ungad Chadda is an experienced capital-markets and financial-services executive who previously held several senior positions with TMX Group and its predecessor organizations. During his tenure, he served as Director of Listings and Chief Operating Officer of TSX Venture Exchange; Vice President, Business Development of Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange; President of Toronto Stock Exchange; Chief Financial Officer of TSX Trust; and Senior Vice President, Head of Enterprise Corporate Strategy and External Affairs of TMX Group.
Mr. Chadda advises clients on capital-markets, regulatory and corporate-governance matters and has served on several boards. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, obtained his Chartered Accountant designation while working with Ernst & Young LLP, and completed the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Dr. Mousa Bahrami leads Solis’s technology strategy and supports the technical assessment of investment opportunities and portfolio companies. His areas of expertise include quantum computing, advanced photonics, cybersecurity, post-quantum cryptography and quantum key distribution.
Dr. Bahrami brings more than 18 years of experience in quantum algorithms, software development, research and advanced technology commercialization. He is the founder of Bita Quantum AI and has contributed to the development of technologies involving post-quantum cryptography (PQC), quantum key distribution (QKD) and Q-Vault. He is also a recipient of an IBM Quantum technology award.
At Solis, Dr. Bahrami evaluates the technical foundations, intellectual property, development pathways and commercial potential of emerging technologies. He works with technical teams, research institutions and industry partners to support product development and the transition of promising technologies from research to practical commercial applications.
John Ross is a senior financial executive with more than 30 years of experience with public and private companies. His expertise includes financial reporting, corporate finance, governance, capital markets, acquisitions and strategic financial management.
Mr. Ross has served as Chief Financial Officer of several publicly listed companies, including Green Shift Commodities Ltd., Urban Infrastructure Group Inc. and Noveris Health Sciences Inc. He previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Hempco Food and Fiber Inc., which was acquired by Aurora Cannabis Inc., and as Chief Financial Officer of AMPD Ventures Inc.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ross served as Chief Financial Officer of FNX Mining Company Inc. and IAMGOLD Corporation during periods of substantial corporate growth. He holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and is a CPA, CA in Ontario.
Paul Pathak is a partner at CP LLP and serves as external legal counsel to Solis. He practises primarily in corporate and securities law, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial law. He advises public and private companies across industries including technology, manufacturing, mining, venture capital and merchant banking.
Mr. Pathak has particular experience advising issuers and investors on public and private financings, securities-law compliance, initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, Capital Pool Companies and going-private transactions. He has also served on the boards of private and publicly listed companies and is a member of the Ontario Local Advisory Committee of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Mr. Pathak was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994. He earned his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and completed Osgoode’s Certificate in Mining Law in 2012.
Selina Huang is the founder of Huang Law Professional Corporation and serves as Corporate Legal Counsel to Solis Capital Worldwide Holdings Inc. She has experience across the Canadian and Chinese legal systems, with a practice focused on commercial real estate, corporate law, franchise law and trusts. Ms. Huang advises Solis on legal, regulatory, corporate and cross-border business matters.
Ms. Huang holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an LL.B. from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and a B.A. in Economics from York University. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, STEP Worldwide and STEP Canada. She also serves as an International Mediator with the Shenzhen Qianhai International Commercial Mediation Center.
